During the holidays, Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting (ABRC) works with Cornerstone, a nonprofit agency dedicated to creating communities where individuals and families are safe and children thrive (learn more at cornerstonemn.org). Each year, Cornerstone's Bloomington office is transformed into a winter wonderland for the event known as Holiday Shop - a festive time for the children of clients Cornerstone serves. During the event, children have the opportunity to select and wrap gifts for their siblings and parents with the help of friendly elves.
Recently, volunteers from ABRC helped set up and decorate Cornerstone's Holiday Shop as part of Associated’s Roots in Our Community volunteerism program. This program is devoted to empowering our colleagues to give generously of our time and resources in the communities in which we live and serve. To help foster an environment of giving, Associated offers flexible working arrangements to its colleagues. Associated also provides special recognition and rewards for outstanding service to non-profit organizations to further engage and motivate colleagues to join in its culture of giving.
